We are showing our solidarity by rowing the Mooragh Lake in Ramsey a dizzy inducing 90 times. This is all in support of the Royal British Legion who are celebrating their 90^th year anniversary this year. We are hoping to raise some money in aid of them to continue their valuable work as well as a contribution towards the Ramsey Watersports centre.

We will have a few raffle prices, a few children games, lots of scones and cream, and an ergo challenge. Come and show your rowing skill by beating the best time yet for the fastest 500 metre row on the day, are you up for it??!!

Come on down on 4^th September 2011, event starts at 11 am and will be happening over the course of the day.

It is soon time for another challenging Viking Boat Race competition. This will be the fourth year that Ramsey Rowing Club has entered a mixed team in the event.

We have achieved a 3rd, 4th and 5th position over the previous 3 years, so the team is hoping to reverse this downward trend and reclaim one of the trophies this year.

Representing the ladies in the team, we have Lisa, Lydia, Maddy, Sarah and Vicky.

Representing the men in the team, we have James, John, Martyn, Ray and Tony.

In the stroke positions we will have James and John.
